New weekly sport shifts schedule will be published on the week 2! Sport shifts are on a break weeks 52 &1.

To help balance the study life, SAMO arranges a great variety of sport activities for their members. From weekly free sport shifts like floorball and badminton, to different sport tournaments during the year.

As a member of SAMO, you can get many discounts from different sport places like gyms around Seinäjoki.

The purpose for SAMOs sport affairs is to arrange social sport activities for all students and expand the sport possibilities. SAMO also wants students to participate and also suggest new sport activities that SAMO could offer.

You can also borrow sports equipment from the SeAMK library!

SAMO's weekly sport shifts are only for SAMO members.

We will inform about changes or cancellations to shifts on SAMO SPORTS Facebook and Instagram.

The student union organization insurance covers the doctor expenses resulting from accidents that occur during members' shifts.

A person attending a sports shift must, upon request from the sport shift supervisor, prove their membership by showing their SAMO membership card. If the membership card cannot be found, the individual can join as a SAMO member on-site before the shift begins through SAMO's website. Otherwise, they must leave the shift.

gym

The gym is located in the basement of Frami F. All students and staff members of SeAMK can use the gym for free.

SAMO Sports tournaments.

Only SAMO members can take part in tournaments; this is due to safety and insurance reasons. SAMO can insure its members only.
Information about the tournaments and sign up is released about a couple of weeks before the tournament.

The tournaments are free rot participants, unless is told otherwise. The price is announced in social media and registration form.

SAMOs tournaments are a fun, relaxed and social competition. The main rule is to have fun and make sure everyone gets along.

All students are welcome to come watch the games, and give support to the teams.
